We were immediately impressed with the velour fabric easy chair and ottoman, and the settee, and the feather-filled throw pillows. The lamps were on dimmers. The Lavazza coffee maker was great, and many extra pods were provided upon request. The bathroom fixtures were luxurious. The king bed was super comfortable. The carpet had NO stains. The 14 foot ceilings lifted our eyes. Now, the reason we chose 21C was because of the art, BUT all of the galleries were closed due to a special event. Another disappointment was that the Savoy restaurant was not open as it was supposed to be. Also, the unadvertised cost $39.95 for one night of valet parking was too much, equaling a fifth of the room cost. Finally, the room was delightful, but check-in at 4 and check-out at 11 gave us only 19 hours there, most of which was sleeping. We wanted to buy a copy of the book that was in the room, but the gift shop was out of it. In conclusion, the clerks were friendly. I doubt we will stay there again because of all the disappointments.

The staff was friendly, especially the valets and the bartenders. Our room was constantly hot. Despite the thermostat being set at 65 degrees, the room never dropped below 76 degrees. When we approached the front desk about our issue we were told that it runs on a motion sensor and shuts off whenever there is no movement. The lobby was very dark and unwelcoming. I truely don't know how this hotel is rated at 4 stars. I would not stay here again.

Cool concept. Art, room and service all were wonderful. Our party’s car windows/car were smashed and almost stolen. Hotel needs to offer free garage parking. The security guard was friendly but they obviously have some problems with questionable people on the area. Would not come back.

The lobby needs help. No places to sit or wait on other people in the lobby. You need additional chairs and maybe tables.
