The closest airport to Île d’Oléron is La Rochelle - Île de Ré Airport (LRH), around 80 km from the hotel. The drive takes between 60 to 90 minutes.

Oléron has a temperate maritime climate with warm, pleasant summers and mild winters. With abundant sunshine, the climate is similar to that of the Mediterranean, but without the extreme heat.

Along with days at the beach and cycling adventures, family activities here include riding the Le P’tit Train de Saint-Trojan and splashing around at the Iléo waterpark. Our luxury Île d’Oléron hotel is family-friendly, with suites for larger families to stay together.

Yes, dogs are very welcome at our pet-friendly hotel on Île d’Oléron. Please note that dogs are allowed on Gatseau Beach except during July and August.

At roughly 34 kilometres long and 15 kilometres wide, Oléron is the second-largest island in France after Corsica. You can drive from one end to the other in around 45 minutes.
