Gastronomy in the Open Air
Our Île d’Oléron restaurant immerses you in the island. In local, seasonal fare, and the dining room’s chic, beach-shack vibe. On the terrace, breathe in the clean Atlantic air. Dine on the deck as views of the ocean unfold, shimmering towards the horizon. You can also order some bites on the beach.
Strolling around the hotel, you may notice the salty scent of the coast giving way to the aroma of fresh pastry. Guided by our pastry chef, the team in our in-house bakery kneads dough and bakes bread each day using flour from local artisanal millers. Butter is sourced locally, too.
Our island is renowned for its Marennes-Oléron oysters, which thrive in former salt marshes. The first oysters in France to earn Label Rouge recognition, they are best enjoyed overlooking the sea, a simple pleasure that defines a luxury holiday on Île d’Oléron.
