Cholon, the Chinatown of Ho Chi Minh City

Meaning “big market”, Cholon is indeed the place for street shopping. It was settled by Chinese traders in the 1700s, and today is the world’s largest Chinatown. This district is also a spiritual and cultural hub, with numerous pagodas and temples.
